Safari's/Geoffroy's Cat/Egyptian Mau

Safari's/Geoffroy's Cat/Egyptian Mau

Are you familiar with Safari's? They are one of the rarest hybrids. Cross between a Geoffroy's Cat and an Egyptian Mau. Exotic and Domestic. The Geoffroy's Cat is an exotic wild cat from the jungles of South America. The Egyptian Mau is a pure bred domestic cat. We have bred these two one time. It produced a litter with one Safari. However, the Safari at the time did not survive. This was our first breeding. We have not attempted it since. We are selling our pair of cats, the Geoffroy and the Egyptian Mau. They are both adults. Both cats are house trained and gentle. Our Geoffroy is a very friendly cat that can be handled. Our domestic is friendly. She can be a little difficult and is not a "lap cat." We are not guaranteeing they will breed and produce Safari's. There is a fair chance that they will. Both cats are bonded to each other. Please let me know if you have questions. If they were proven breeders of Safari's I would not sell them. We are not in a position to try and breed them again, so we are looking to place them in a good home. Both cats could make pets or you could continue to try and breed them. I am looking for someone that is willing to provide them a good home even if they decide not to breed. I was not prepared the first time to have a kitten in a litter that did not survive. The chromosome count is different to the point that we are not able to consistently breed with success. Someone that buys the pair would ideally be an owner that might attempt breedings, but if not successful, someone that is willing to make the pair house pets. If the pet option is chosen then both cats would need to be spayed and neutered.

Combined price for both together is $2000. See my separate ad's for individual pricing.
