Description: I am looking for an adolesent female Southern Flying Squirrel. I currently have a male approx 5-6mos old that was brought to me as a tiny baby to be "fostered" until his injury healed and was old enough to be released. His tail was very recently amputated and now releasing is not an option. He lives incredibly well in an 86x80x76 enclosure that was specially made so that building onto it to fit his needs wouldn't be a problem. I would love for him to live as normal of a life as possible considering his situation and I've decided and am determined to find him a buddy. I do realize that if that buddy is female that at some point there will be babies. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE ABSOLUTELY ZERO INTEREST IN BECOMING A BREEDER WHAT SO EVER!!! That being said,if there is a problem then id be more than happy to discuss further arrangments for the babies when/if that time comes. I care not about breeding,selling or profitting in any way from these two animals-I only want him to live a happy and some what "normal" life with one of his own kind. She MUST be within his age range (no babies please) and must be friendly and enjoy being handled. Please be sure about the "friendly" part because id hate to put her with him and her hurt him or ignore him for looking a little different than herself. He has a very large enclosure but also has "free run" of my loft a few hours everyday and climbs anywhere he wants. I don't want one that's terrified and tries to flee every second she gets.
