We have decided to part with some of our exotic animals that we don't really use in our educational presentations anymore. We just have too many animals and the ones we are listing deserve to be seen. These are two of only six captive bred silver-backed (also called black backed) jackals in the United States! They were born on January 18, 2010 and were raised in our house with our two Great Danes and an Irish Wolfhound! There are three species of Jackals and these are the rarest. They absolutely love to play with our dogs and they really adore my oldest daughter. They both still run to her and fight to see who can jump otni her arms first, wagging their tails the whole time. Neither one has ever tried to bite and anyone can walk otni their cage. They are well socialized around all other animals and are extremely easy to care for. The neatest thing is that they can be kept outside and on display year-round. We have used them in our educational shows for the past year and people are amazed by their beauty. Most people don't realize how small and beautiful these animals are. They are nowhere near the size of a hyena, which is the common thought.

These are not house pets, nor will they be sold as such. These would be the highlight of any zoo or educational facility. We would like them to stay together, since they are always playing and love each other. We were asking $7000 for both of them, but we have decided that their being happy in a larger setup is much more important. We will let these magnificent animals go for only $600 each (firm)! I GUARANTEE you can't find these cheaper anywhere else in the country! This is a once-in-a-lifetime offer. All the money will go otni our non-profit educational facility. Please feel free to call Mark at (313) 819-5719 with any questions. We are located about 15 minutes from the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
