We have some wonderful Suris for sale if anyone is interested in adding to their current herd or wants to begin the exciting adventure of raising these wonderful animals with so many potential income avenues!
The ones we have for sale start at $1500 and package deals may be able to be arranged. Suris are the alpaca breed with the longer, silkier locks of fleece. Their fleece is much heavier than huacaya and can be used in all sorts of ways. A lot of doll makers like to use the longer locks to create beautiful hairstyles for their doll creations.
**If you are just starting out and wanting to raise Alpacas, you need to do some research and decide what your goals are for them. Even 4H Alpacas will need to be registered and top quality fiber will make a huge difference, if your focus is on products. If you purchase pet quality, that's what you will get...a loveable, most likely older, sweet alpaca with a lower quality fiber.
Alpacas are wonderful animals that are easy to manage and maintain...they make wonderful pets, farm additions, and/or business opportunities!

***They do well with other alpacas, llamas, goats, cows, horses, donkeys --Horses/Donkeys must be same sex or gelded. (Keep in mind that alpacas are induced ovulators, which means they can be bred anytime and not specific seasons...This means they should only be in with the males during breeding). Some dog breeds do not do well with alpacas, so they may not be able to run freely in the alpaca pen areas.
