3 year old camel, he is a male and was castrated May 2023. He will be 4 years old in May 2024. I had a trainer named Terri come out last year so show me how to handle him properly but I haven't had time to do much with him because of some health problems my parents are going through. I bought him as a yearling from a camel dairy in Berthoud Colorado. He is halter trained and he is easy to put a halter on. He is friendly through the fence. He has never spit on anyone! He does try to knock me down if I go in the pen with him without a whip or something I can hold up like a staff that they use in the middle east. The trainer said you just have to hold it higher than his head but she thought he had a good start and would be easy to train if you have the time to work with him. He is basically like a young horse that needs to be trained. I won't sell him to anyone that doesn't have training experience, he is young and needs a lot of work. Email me if interested and tell me about yourself and what you would want him for if you want a reply. I'm in no rush to sell just want him to go to the right home.
