Although these guys look very similar to Hedgehogs, they are completely unrelated. Don't get me wrong, we love Hedgehogs and do have Hedgehogs in store and ready now, however, there are some key differences!



















* Tenrecs take much less time to bond with. In most cases they are naturally sweet!









* Tenrecs life expectancy is substantially longer, with an average of 15 years!









* Temperature isn't as important to a Tenrec. These guys will be comfortable as long as you are!









* Closest relatives are Elephants!
