- Bessy is an adorable mini cow that is bout 20 months old and broke to ride. She has not been handled alot before we got her so is not bomb proof but she has a naturally gentle disposition and was leading and standing to be saddled the 1st day i worked with her. I have rode her and my 7 yr old daughter has rode her. She has never bucked or kicked. Great 4-H project for perfect to lead the kids around the yard! Cows make great trail animals too as they aren't easily spooked and will go all day at a nice steady comfortable pace. She is a perfect size at about 37inches at the hip.
