- Pet male coatimundi needs new home. Got him as a “rescue” from a “zoo” that took terrible care of him. He was defanged and declawed on all four feet when I got him. I did take him to the vet and had him neutered. He was bored where he was at and it looks like he chewed off half of his tail and he was severely underweight. He has gained weight, loves cuddles and scratches and is a very good boy, however it was never our intention on keeping him he demands a lot of attention that either a person or another coati could provide that we can’t. We are only asking $200, if you need shipping I don’t mind doing that as I’ve had mammals shipped before but will be at the buyers expense. He currently has his own room and I’d expect you have a large outdoor enclosure for him or a spare bedroom. He’s very typical coati, you must trade him for things not just take them. He loves to groom your head. He loves going for walks.
